Stone bathtubs. Refining of raw materials.

The essential ingredient in baths is limestone, using only the purest limestone. Manufacturers use fine industrial mesh and strong magnets to achieve this. The result is that only the highest quality limestone goes into the mix.

The material

The material is made by mixing the above-refined limestone with high-quality resins. Air bubbles are removed in an ambient high vacuum chamber.

Catalyst injection and polymerisation

Before casting the material into a closed mold, a catalyst is added. The catalyst is how the material is cured in a temperature-controlled environment. The upper mold is removed. The lower mold remains fixed (to avoid warping) as the bath passes through a post-cure heat tunnel for 180 minutes.

This post-curing process hardens the resin/limestone compound and using specialized hole saws, the waste is pierced. Quality assurance procedures The bath is carefully examined for defects and uniformity of thickness.

Polishing the bath

In the last process, the bath is cleaned and polished to a high gloss. Care and clean cast stone tubs and spas Before installing the bathtub: Remove the cardboard packaging and inspect the bath.

Note: Indents, vents, casting marks and imperfections on the vessel’s underside (where they are not visible when the vessel is facing up) do not affect performance and should not be regarded as defects. The assembly of the feet of the bathtub and the installation of the bathtub will be considered an acceptance of the quality.

Care and Maintenance

Regular and proper cleaning of your product will give you years of good use and continue to be the perfect centerpiece of your bathroom Daily Bath Cleaning For regular cleaning, use a mild detergent.

Use a non-abrasive household bathroom or kitchen cleaner for daily cleaning as constant use of abrasives can cause the satin look to disappear over a long period of time.

For stubborn stains, use a JIF type detergent (only for matt-shiny surfaces, consult your dealer). If you must clean the tub with an abrasive cleaner, polishing with car polish or rubber will restore the shine to the tub.

Always use a soft, clean cloth Rinse thoroughly after washing and dry with a soft cloth; change the rinse water often.

Using excessive amount of detergent or soap may cause streaks. Do not use products containing lemon juice, vinegar or other acids which may be contained in normal bathroom cleaners or stain removers. If you use colorants such as hair dye, rinse the bath immediately and thoroughly so that NO traces are visible.

When not in use, dust with a dry, untreated cloth. If in doubt, contact your dealer. Repair a scratch If any scratches occur, they can be removed by wiping with 1500+ grit waterproof sandpaper and water. Then repolish the surface using a neutral colour restorer or household polish.

For deeper scratches and issues, you may need to use more abrasive paper initially. In this case, gradually work up to a grain of 1500 and polish again. For optimal results, limit sanding to the smallest area possible around the scratch. It may be possible to remove very fine scratches without using abrasive paper by rubbing softly with a brush or plastic pad (do not use steel wool) and a mildly abrasive cleaning cream.

Then scrub the entire area with plenty of clean water and polish again as before. Spa For a more exclusive bathroom, you can choose from a wide range of whirlpools. Simple, understated and sophisticated, these bath tubs embody all that is contemporary.
